I don’t know about where you live, but here in Southern California, the past two weeks have been all about trying to beat the heat.  It has been downright unbearable at times.  We’re trying to hide out in air conditioned buildings, and are keeping hydrated.

While we’re sitting here dreaming about all things cool, we thought it would be a good time to show you some stainless steel water bottles that we recently etched.  These were just samples of what we can do, but we think that the final products look pretty darn cool…

It always amazes us when we see pictures of the things that people have created with their laser etching machines, but, this one blew us away…

We’re not sure which type of machine this guy used, but he’s etched a portion of a calendar into his thumbnails.  Having your fingernails etched is not something we recommend, but it is pretty amazing to see the creative juices flowing!

We were so excited about this ipod Touch that we etched earlier this week for a client in San Jose, that we wanted to share some photos with you.  The shiny surface on the backs of ipod Touch devices and older iphones requires us to use a bonding agent in the etching process.  The end result is the black design that you see here:

Notice the detailing on the bird.  Trust us, it looks even better in person.
